Hello Everyone, Wow! Its 2010, can you believe it! I hope everyone had a joyous and blessed holiday season filled with lots of laughter asnd love.
My family and I have had such an amazing holiday and we are still enjoying many new blessings in the new year. Kori and I had our first christmas opening gifts with our 6 month old twins, who seem to steal the show with their smiles. Which was ok and very enjoyable. We enjoyed the company of all of our relation over the week. We traveled to the 100th birthday party in Kansas for Kori's Great Grandpa and spent two days with family over there.
Then we came back to a house full of family from my Mom and Dads side and Kori's parents. We all had a great time and there was lots of laughter and games and fun. Especially watching the kiddo's play with all there new toys from everyone. My family and I have been so blessed this last year and thank the Lord everyday for everything he has provided for us and the man and woman he is molding Kori and I into. Following Christmas Kori and I took a little well needed vacation together to Orlando, Florida.
DisneyWorld!! What a place of magnificant buildings, rides, and music. I was in awe of what Walt Disney's vision was and how it came true. It truly is a Magical Place filled with amazing rides, and history. Kori and I had so much fun, other than it was quite chilly while we were there. Which was very unexpected but we said at least we don't have to go from cold weather to hot weather and then back. It was about the same from one place to the next. We are always finding the positive in everything.
Now that we are back in Colorado it is ready to go to work on 2010. It starts with Odessa on Jan. 14th and then into Denver and the rodeos just start adding up from there. I am excited to kick off my new year by pulling 9g's. Which for most they would not know what that means, neither did I till now. I have been asked to ride and fly an F-16 on Jan. 8 for the National Western Stockshow and the 150th Anniversary of the Colorado National Guard. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am so excited to be offered this chance. My trip to 9g's has already started as I am writing I had to go to Buckley Airfield the 6th and go through a briefing of what is going to happen and then be checked out by a doctor to make sure that I am healthy enough to be able to fly. It was amazing to be there and listen to what is going to happen.
A little about the F-16, It travels from 600-900 miles an hour and has so much power that you can by flying along and turn the nose straight up and accelerate to 9g's. When they talk about 9g's I was not sure but they say they will work me up to that by one g at a time. Because 1g is like your body weight so when you get to 9g's it is like having 9 times your body weight forcing you down. They say it is excruciating and I will be so worn out after a 20 min flight that I will not even believe it. I will be posting a video of the flight on to my website following this opportunity, so keep your eyes open for it.
Well I am 24 hours away from 9g's so I better get started with my training.
Hey Josh
Candace's husband flies the F-16. They are now in Korea.
She will be so mad at you that you got to fly in an F-16. She hasn't got to.
Family can only ride on the runway during certain celebrations. She was pregnant when Todd graduated from F-16 school and it was her chance to ride on the runway. We have done the simulater thing for f-16 but that is all. We are going to korea in Feb to see them.
Email me and I will connect you with her. Candace St.Aubyn on FB. She tried to write you a note on your family FB but thinks it went to a brother.
How are your parents-say HEy for us.
Heard you are coming to FPC. We built on to our house and would love for anyone to come.
Please contact us when you can.
So proud to see your family and to hear you are walking with the LORD Jesus. Candace is back on track with Jesus too!
Love ya
